WHAT IS A BOARD CERTIFIED CHIROPRACTIC ORTHOPEDIST?

Dr. Concessi has completed an extensive four-year program of post-graduate study and has achieved national status as Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedists.

To obtain Board status, participating doctors must demonstrate specialty knowledge on disorders including all spinal related areas, laboratory diagnosis, orthopedic testing, proper assessment of bony fractures and dislocations, neurology, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, post injury rehabilitation, impairment rating, evidence-based practice and physical therapy.

Out of approximately 65,000 licensed chiropractors worldwide, less than 4% hold this specialized designation as a Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist. Throughout the entire state of Michigan only three other chiropractors have achieved this level of specialty, with Dr. Concessi being the only one in the entire Metro Detroit area.
